Blending such design with Lasunya’s expertise in upholstery work, new rattan pattern has been discovered by special quilting technique which creates luxury seaside look.

MAYU Chair ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากกลิ่นอายของทะเล ที่มีรีสอร์ตหรือบีชอยู่ใกล้ ๆ ที่ตกแต่งด้วยเก้าอี้โซฟาหวาย ผสมผสานกับ Lasunya ซึ่งถนัดงานฝีมือเย็บ และหุ้ม ตีความใหม่ให้ออกมาเป็นเก้าอี้ที่มี concept จากลวดลายการดัดหวายโดยใช้เทคนิคเดินด้ายโชว์ (Quilting) ลงบนงานฝีมือหุ้มบุจาก Lasunya ก็ออกมาเป็นลุคริมทะเลแบบ luxury

MAYU Chair จึงได้ไอเดียมาจากเก้าอี้หวายริมทะเลในภาพจำของหลาย ๆ คนซึ่งก็คือ Peacock Chair เป็นเก้าอี้พนักสูงที่โชว์ลายดัดหวายอย่างสง่างาม สามารถใช้เป็นเก้าอี้ statement วางต้อนรับอย่างเตะตา ประกอบกับความคิดถึงการเดินทางไปตามชายหาดบนรถตู้เก่า ๆ หรือรถคลาสิค MAYU Chair ก็ได้ใช้เทคนิคการเดินด้าย Quilting และการกุ๊นขอบนูนที่มาจากเบาะรถพวกนั้น มาแทนลวดลายการดัดหวายของ Peacock Chair

MAYU Chair’s concept is derived from rattan chair besides sea which is well known as peacock chair; its high back shows special rattan pattern. Moreover, it can be used as statement chair which is placed eye-catchingly to welcome your guests. Nostalging traveling along the beach with an old van or a classic car, MAYU chair is crafted by quilting technique to create special unique pattern instead of rattan pattern of peacock chair.
