หนังแท้มีกี่แบบ ( Leather Type )

ก่อนจะมาเป็นหนังแท้สำหรับงานหุ้มโซฟา หนังวัวที่ยังไม่ผ่านการฟอก หรือ Raw Cowhide จะต้องผ่านกระบวนการฟอกและขั้นตอนการผลิตต่าง ๆ เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นกระบวนการ เราสามารถแบ่งหนังแท้ได้เป็น 3 ประเภทหลัก ๆ ซึ่งหนังแต่ละประเภทจะมีคุณสมบัติและจุดเด่นที่แตกต่างกัน 1.Aniline leather 2.Semi aniline leather 3.Proteced leather

Aniline Leather

หนัง Aniline เป็นหนังที่ทำจากหนังวัวระดับสูงสุด โดดเด่นเรื่องการให้สัมผัสที่เป็นธรรมชาติ และมีลวดลายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ในหนังแต่ละผืน ถือเป็นหนังที่มีเสน่ห์มากที่สุด หนังชนิดนี้จะค่อย ๆ เงาขึ้นเมื่อผ่านการใช้งาน จึงเหมาะกับคนที่ชอบความเป็นธรรมชาติเพราะยิ่งใช้ยิ่งสวย เหมาะกับการใช้งานในบ้าน หรือสถานที่ที่ต้องการยกระดับหรือเพิ่มคุณค่า นั่งแล้วไม่ร้อนเพราะหนังวัวมีรูขุมขน ทำให้ลมไหลผ่านได้

Semi-aniline Leather

หนัง Semi-aniline เป็นหนังที่ดูแลง่ายและค่อนข้างทนทาน ทนต่อทั้งรอยเปื้อนต่าง ๆ และการซีดจางของสี เป็นหนังชนิดที่เอาข้อดีของหนัง Aniline และหนัง Protected มารวมกัน คือมีความเป็นธรรมชาติและดูแลง่าย เป็นหนังที่ได้รับความนิยมมากในสมัยนี้ เพราะภายนอกมีลักษณะคล้ายกับหนัง Aniline ในราคาที่จับต้องได้

Protected Leather

หนัง Protected เป็นหนังชนิดที่ทนทานที่สุด ทนต่อทั้งน้ำ ฝุ่นและรอยเปื้อนต่าง ๆ หนังมีความนุ่มและให้ความสบาย มีลายตามธรรมชาติน้อย จึงเป็นหนังที่ดูแลรักษาง่ายและทนทานที่สุด เหมาะกับการใช้งานในที่สาธารณะหรือสถานที่ที่มีคนใช้งานมากในแต่ละวัน เช่น ร้านกาแฟ ร้านอาหาร

The ultimate for durability, Protected leather has a special surface treatment which guards against wear and tear, making it water repellent, dirt repellent and stain resistant. The leather is soft and extremely comfortable, with a more uniform look to the surface. Meaning, the natural markings are minimal in a leather that’s ultra easy to look after, designed to last for generations.

Leather with a protected surface is the term designated for leather that is tanned and dyed followed by a strong, pigmented layer and top coat. (The amount of colour layers can vary). The surface is often corrected and/or embossed. The leather can be slightly breathable.
